​The Fort Madison CSD Foundation purpose is to encourage the donations of funds for scholarships and endowments which will promote and enrich the district's programs for the benefit of community students.  This organization is part of the Community Foundation of North Lee County.  Brochure

Long Range District Goals:

  • Continue to implement research-based programs and strategies that improve every student's academic achievement with emphasis on reading, math, and science; review and assess programs for continued improvement.
  • Advance and utilize the technological infrastructure to assist in communication and further enhance the educational process, including the 21st century skills. 
  • Develop and maintain facilities that will foster student achievement. 
  • Support a safe, positive, and healthy learning environment and nurture mutual respect and responsible citizenship among staff, families, and students. 
  • Strengthen communication, collaboration, and volunteerism among staff, families, and students to promote and build community. 
  • Maintain a high level of staff and student attendance. 
  • Improve graduation rate.
  • Develop policies that discourage bullying and improper social networking with emphasis on using technology for betterment of social skills.

Student Achievement Goals: 

  • 85% of our students, grades 2-11, will be proficient in reading, math, and science as measured by the ITBS / ITED tests.
  • Each year our students will demonstrate 1 year’s growth in academic achievement.
