Flowers for FMCH
Ms. Hoenig has been teaching at the Fort Madison Community School District for over 27 years. During her time with FMCSD, she has always enjoyed doing fun projects with her kiddos. She believes it is important for students to get creative and enjoy coming to school.
One of her most recent projects was making paper flowers for the patients at the Fort Madison Community Hospital (FMCH). This project allowed the student’s creativity to shine and taught them about the value of giving.
The students were excited about making the flowers and sharing them with the patients and staff at FMCH. They took pride in them, especially after hearing that they would make someone else happy.
