Homecoming 2019 – A Bloodhound Family!

Band, Colorguard, Cheer, and Football visit the Kensington!

The band and color guard performed for Kensington residents on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019 to kick off homecoming week. The cheerleading squad and senior football players went along to get the residents ready for the big game against the Keokuk Chiefs, too!

Above, Quentin Ross visits with Fort Madison High School Alumni, Alice Horstman. Alice graduated from FMHS in 1941 and lives at the Kensington!

The Parade

The homecoming parade was led by Grand Marshall, Tom Walljasper of Fort Madison, Iowa! Tom is an FMHS Alumni and graduated in 1979. He is very involved in school events and continues to be an advocate for all student athletes at FMHS.

Homecoming King and Queen

The 2019 Homecoming King and Queen are Gage Hind and Maddy McVey!

Homecoming Candidates were Jillian Wiseman, Parker Denning, Jada Sheppard, Gage Hind, Maycee Featheringill, Danen Settles, Jacki Hayes, Thumper (Caleb) Wood, Lily Cadwallader, Diego Lozano, Madison McVey, and Jayden Fedler!

Little Bloodhounds join in on the homecoming fun!

Fort Madison Middle School celebrated homecoming week with a performance from their own FMMS Marching Band, a performance from FMHS Marching Band, performances by FMHS Cheer and Dance, and friendly games of tug-a-war with some senior football players!

FMHS Football, Cheer, and Dance hosted pep assemblies for Lincoln and Richardson Elementary! It was exciting to see how many of our FMHS athletes went to Lincoln and Richardson for their elementary education!
