Meet Megan Maag – Fort Madison Middle School

Megan Maag is a seventh and eighth grade science teacher at the Fort Madison Middle School. Her seventh grade class is learning about metabolic reactions and her eighth grade is learning about weather.

Megan Maag is a seventh and eighth grade science teacher at Fort Madison Middle School. Originally, she is from Warsaw, Illinois. Megan Maag attended Western Illinois University. Her degree is in Elementary Education K-6, with a science endorsement for middle school. Previously, she has worked at Keokuk Catholic School teaching fifth grade.

In her free time, Ms. Maag enjoys reading and spending time with my family and friends. Her favorite movie is Sweet Home Alabama. Ms. Maag’s favorite artist is Florida Georgia Line. Her favorite vacation was going to North Carolina. A fun fact about Ms. Maag is that she has been to Jamaica.

Currently in her classroom, her seventh graders are working on metabolic relations and Ms. Maag’s eighth graders are learning about weather. Ms. Maag’s goal for the end of the year is to become more organized. She is excited that the science department has new units this year. Ms. Maag also has a student teacher, Ms. Samantha Hawkins.
