Meet Charlotte Nagel – Lincoln Elementary

Charlotte Nagel is a second grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary. Originally, Ms. Nagel is from Fort Madison, Iowa. Charlotte Nagel attended Iowa Wesleyan to receive her bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She then attended Viterbo University for her master’s degree in elementary education. Additionally, she has an early childhood and reading endorsement.

Ms. Nagel chats with a student about his work!

In her free time, Ms. Nagel enjoys traveling, going on walks, and enjoying her pool. Her favorite book is all of Jodi Picoult’s books. Also, her favorite movie is anything Hallmark. Additionally, her two favorite vacations were to Disney World and Las Vegas.

Currently in her classroom, the students are using informational text to research fossils during language and reading. The students are also learning how to bundle ones and tens when adding two and three digit numbers during math. Ms. Nagel’s goal for her students is for them to instill a love for learning. She wants her students to always have compassion for others.
