Mr. Benjamin Fry Joins the Bloodhound Family – FMCSD

The Fort Madison Community School District is thrilled to announce the hiring of Mr. Benjamin Fry as the new Fort Madison Community School District Activities Director. 

Mr. Fry obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre from Central College in Pella, Iowa. Mr. Fry then received his Master of Education in Athletics/Activities Administration from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. Additionally, Mr. Fry has his coaching endorsement, activities administrator authorization and is CPR certified. Mr. Fry has coached softball both at the high school and college level, high school football, varsity baseball as well as junior high football, baseball, basketball and football. While in high school, Mr. Fry was a four sport athlete and participated in fine arts. 

Mr. Fry has been the Activities Director for the New London Community School District for the past four years. 

The district will be hosting a welcome for Mr. Fry on Monday, June 14th at our Central Administration Office (1930 Avenue M) from 5:30-6:30 PM. The public is welcome to attend. 

Mr. Fry will officially begin his duties with the FMCSD on July 1, 2021 pending board approval.

On June 14th, Mr. Fry will be announced as the new Activities Director in between Varsity Baseball games.
