History

The charming town of Fort Madison, Iowa was established around 1808. Fort Madison is known for the Tri-State Rodeo, Mexican Fiesta, Annual Lighted Parade and Fort Madison. Many of the families here find that Fort Madison is a great place to raise a family because of the safety, affordability, and education this town provides. Parents/guardians can feel assured sending their kids off to the Fort Madison Community School District. This district provides students with a rigorous curriculum that prepares them with the necessary life and social skills for success.
