Five Career and Technical FMHS students officially accepted positions at the 2021 Signing Day, Friday, May 21. Fort Madison High School has had signing ceremonies for those students who go to college to play a sport. Now, for the last two years our Fort Madison High School graduates entering the workforce have been recognized. The following students have been through the CTE (Career and Technical Education) programs at the Fort Madison High School and are now entering the workforce.
Owen Kruse accepted a position with Mohrfeld Electric in Fort Madison.
Chay Smith and Kyle Knepp were accepted in the CTE programs at Southeastern Community College.
Brandon Brown accepted a position with Blue Top Excavating in Fort Madison.
Chance Decker accepted a position with Floorcrafters in Fort Madison.
“This was the second year that FMHS has recognized Career and Technical graduates and their post secondary plans. As these programs continue to grow, we are looking forward to more of our students being honored in this way! It is very satisfying to watch our students find their passion while they are still in school! This is the mission and vision of FMHS. I couldn’t be prouder of these students, our CTE staff and the community who make it all possible.” said Fort Madison High School’s Principal Greg Smith.
